We are Mutts Be Love.
It all started with creative people combining their passion for the outdoors and dogs into a business idea and job that they love. There became Mutts Be Love.

Growing up in South Africa, I was fortunate to always have animals in my life, including dogs and cats, and to be surrounded by animal lovers like myself. My interest in animal interactions and behaviour led to me completing a masters in 2016 in environmental sciences and conservation.
Understanding animal behaviour and interactions afforded me the opportunity to complete a wildlife rehabilitation course and I got to work hands on with injured animals at a wildlife rehabilitation centre.
In December 2019, my husband and I rescued two special Labradors, Athena and Leia, found abandoned on a freeway. These two fur babies are an important part of our lives and we are so grateful to have rescued them.
I decided to combine my passion for dogs, outdoors and being active into a career of dog walking and care. I am constantly learning new things about canine behaviour and training.

I’ve always had a huge love for animals and have grown up around dogs.
My first being an English springer so I have a soft spot for the gundog breeds but also love the chaos of the higher energy dogs! We competed in agility too so, I always relish a chance for further training or enrichment with the dogs, having seen what they can get from it all.
My first job was in a dog groomers which taught me a lot on how to work with dogs when they’re potentially more stressed and seeing lots of different personalities come through the door and how to deal with them.
I really enjoy being active so when the opportunity came to combine my two loves by working with Mutts Be Love, I jumped at the chance. -

I’ve always felt a deep connection with animals. I grew up with cats and smaller pets, loved horse riding, and would always befriend cats and dogs whenever I went abroad. Everything changed eight years ago when my twin sister got a spaniel. I became his devoted dog auntie, and it sparked a love of dogs that soon led me into regular dog walking and petsitting.
Since then, I’ve cared for many different breeds and personalities as a petsitter and dog walker in the UK . I’ve always had an intuitive approach, and last year I deepened this path in Portugal by completing a Cooperation with Animals course, rescuing an elderly dog, and spending several months volunteering at a rural dog sanctuary.
Now back in Forest Hill, walking dogs locally feels like the perfect way to bring together my love of animals, the outdoors, and community. I’m calm, reliable, and outdoorsy — happiest when I’m giving each dog the care, consistency, and adventures they deserve.
